The CSPA had a study trip to Akizuki on Sun 10th November 2024. Akizuki, located in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is the site of a castle town, also known as ‘Kyushu’s Little Kyoto.’ After learning about the town’s history at teh Akizuki History Museum, our students and academic staff strolled around the area where the town layout and hoses from the Edo period still remain.
